SITE DESIGN

This engineering discipline involves several components that when combined complete the ideal work area. Whether that be for municipal use in modern work spaces or for commercial use focused on prime functionality and cost efficiency, DMK has got the team to make it all happen.

COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE

EXPERIENCE

The combined experience of DMK will bring over 100 years of site design experience to your project. Our civil engineers are dedicated to designing a site design plan that will utilize every square foot for both functionality and cost efficiency. By capitalizing on this experience, our teams consider all design components at an early stage ensuring permitting at all levels will be accepted and approved.

PERMITTING

Permitting is one of the most important aspects of the site design plan. It will determine if your plan is workable or if you have to readjust. Some of the permitting hurdles our teams face are local site approval, State and Federal stormwater and environmental concerns with Southwest Florida Water Management District and the Army Corps of Engineers respectively, or even the State utility permits for water and sewer concerns with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

SUB-CONSULTANTS

Throughout our 40 years in Southwest Florida, DMK has built relationships with local subconsultants in several disciplines. One of DMK's values is to establish and maintain working relationships with local companies whose values align with ours. We also find it fundamental to hire local subconsultants to increase our impact in the local economy, and further helping our communities as a whole.

Strategies Addressing Influx of Population

Let's face it, Florida is looking better and better each year. There is no wonder why the inflow of population is booming. Think about it, no state income tax, beaches, business-friendly policies, and school choice are just a few of the great things Southwest Florida has to offer. Though it's understandable that more American's are making the move to Florida, it does bring logical strains to the state. Some of these concerns are the effects on attainable housing, transportation, and energy. But like all challenges, there are solutions all we need is a strategy to implement this needed change.
