Engineer/Project Manager
Established Engineering and Land Surveying consulting firm with offices in Venice and Englewood, Florida seeks a qualified, licensed Civil/Land Development/Roadway/Utilities engineer to assist with the preparation of studies, reports, designs, and plans required in the job description and title will be appropriate for a Professional Consultant, Level 3 or 4 requiring graduation from an ABET-accredited university and at least 5 years of licensure as a professional engineer in states having reciprocity with Florida. Must be capable of attaining Florida licensure within 4 months of hire. This is a Project Engineer position. We are seeking well-qualified and inspired employees with strong work and professional ethics. They will be working with a talented staff of employees to produce outstanding projects for both private and public-sector clients.

The successful applicant will report to work in Venice, FL., and work at the direction of an assigned supervisor under the V.P. of Engineering.

The successful applicant will be able to: provide multiple examples of recent design projects and skills; maintain proficient knowledge of civil and/or structural engineering analysis, design, and permitting; have documented computer modeling skills in programs similar to AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR, ARC Map (GIS), and MODRET and demonstrate experienced in preparation of plans and specifications to the most current codes, Municipal and State.
